That said, I think we can all agree that it is a much more different context when we know that the McCain campaign is suggesting that Obama is unamerican and a terrorist even. Plus i look at this situation and cant help but think about right wing hate radio like Hannity and Savage. Nov 22, 2008 - Tommy, the McCain campaign isn't saying that Obama is un-american, in fact just the opposite, what the McCain campaign is saying is that you as a voter, have to question a man who associates with questionable organizations and people, then when asked about it denies that very association or makes the lame excuse that he didn't know the background of his associate, then when its found out that he did know about it, he makes a statement saying he doesn't agree with his associate.

Nov 22, 2008 - As an example, Senator Obama associated with ACORN. We all know it, his campaign gave them 800,000 dollars. But if you read the "FightTheSmears" web site, he denies it. In fact his campaign falsified reporting that expenditure, stating that it was for lighting and site preparation. But we all know it was for "get out the vote", when questioned about it, his campaign said sorry, clerical error. Had it not been questioned they would have left it alone and we wouldn't know the connection.

Its OK to tell lies in order to get elected, as long as a democrat gets elected. Its OK to steal from the wealthy as long as they feel that money is going to good use. Nov 22, 2008 - Another thing the left need to consider, first of all McCain is one of the most LIBERAL Republicans on the hill, and if he wasn't sporting a "R" next to his name, he is the type of candidate they would want in office. If you look at his voting record, and compare it to Clinton's, you won't see much of a difference. Being concerned is OK, there are some wacko's out there, but don't be too concerned, it is my understanding he has had more secret service agents protecting him than Bush does.

When confronted with those assiociations, first he denies them, then when evidence is presented that he did in fact have the assiociation, he faints ignorance of their ideology, then again when evidence is provided he disassiociates himself publically from them.
