Dec 5, 2008 - why did he drop the crystal all so sudden? Maybe if Ramza got to the crystal he could inherit Dark Knight? Its just a thought

StoneMonkEnlightend2 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - Nope, it's impossible without a cheat device to become a Dark Knight in this game, though it is offered as a class in the psp version. I don't care much for it. I heard stupid rumors that you could become a Dark Knight, and of course being gullable tried it. It didn't work and I attempted that years ago.Once Gafgarion falls in battle he always immediately drops a crystal, a unit could have gone for it if I hadn't already killed off the other enemies.

Dec 5, 2008 - Yea i tried it too and never worked, i always thought it was me doing sumthin wrong cause i kept reading all these methods and threads on how to until i tried even the stupidest stuff like killing the one chocobo ur supposed to save in Araguay woods to open up a dimension into choas. Then i realized all those people were just jerkin my chain, i got so mad. I would say thats the one thing missin f/ the PSX version thought its alright cause u get Cid and Agrias to make up 4 it

Dec 5, 2008 - It is indeed possible to become a dark knight in final fantasy tactics (ps1 version) and that is indeed why he dropped the crystal so fast, I remember I did it about 5 years ago for the first time and I did it again, ramza must be a squire in order for it to work, all you have to do is aquire the crystal, alot of people say it doesnt work simply because there is no forum and FAQ that explains this simply because so little people know how to do it.

Dec 5, 2008 - The version I heard of was making a priest out of Gafgarion before he leaves at Zirekile Falls and then equipping his equipment to Ramza, then proceed to this battle and absorb his crystal still wearing his original armor. Since all the information I found was different than the last, I figured it is impossible.

Dec 5, 2008 - It is not possible to become Dark Knight in the PSX version without Gameshark. Trust me I am an expert at the game.

Dec 5, 2008 - why are u archer??? im lvl 36 ninja at that time. i jsut keep training ang training

StoneMonkEnlightend2 Says:

Dec 5, 2008 - I figured I'd try something a bit different, most every battle I change my job class to spice things up. I thought that being an Archer would allow some support of the other troops, however it would have been better with teleport. Have Ramza completely escape Gafgarions attacks to help his fellow team, oh well. It's over and done, can't exactly redo it now.
