If you did there is no way you'd vote Democrat either. Unless you think people's lives ought to be run by the President or any given elected official. Nov 23, 2008 - I do understand that the power that the federal gov. has is divided by checks and balances,and that the states get more law making power,b/c of the 10th amendment. This is a good thing in most cases, but on issues of health care, I think that the fed. gov. should be able to create national coverage. I believe this because insurance companies don't offer a lot of affordable coverage, so there needs to be more accountability or nation wide coverage. That is my opinion. I appreciate hearing yours(:
