This is by Nanci Griffith.I recorded this for Shas1814 - One of the kindest souls on the youtubernets. He made a great request for positive protest songs - but every time I write one it comes out far too angry and negative, so I though I'd do version of one of the best from the 80's.I added a couple of tracks (Uke and a vocal) and some strange sound artifacts got carried through - it's all a little odd and dream-like, but I thought it was interesting, so I kept it. I tuned both axes down a half-step too...Write a song for Shas' project...
