Here is an abandoned spur bridge crossing the Youghiogheny River near the town of Adelaide, PA at mile post 90 of the Great Allegheny Passage Bike trail. The Local Artists have strived to keep the thing painted!! :-) This fed the Dickerson Run Coke ovens of the HC Frick Coal Co, and ran parallel to the Western Maryland Railroad right of way. Probably closed for 70 years or so. visit www.stuffthatsgone.com as well!
