It just HAD to be done! I got that shippy feeling way down deep in my soul after I watched the Leo and Anne scenes in the ninth episode, "Slice of Life" and then I went on a long search for the perfect song and I believe I've found just that in Overflow's "Cry On My Shoulder."Just so you know, this is an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE video, where Ben and Amy NEVER dated!! (I think that would be a little too awkward.)AU Background: Anne has been best friends with Leo Boykewich since high school. Little did Anne know that Leo had a crush for her then, so when she started dating George Juergens, it broke his heart, but he didn't allow her to see that for the sake of their friendship.Things with George and Anne began to go down hill and Anne was considering breaking up with George until she found out she was pregnant. When she told him, George offered to marry her and she said yes.After Anne's marriage, Leo finally decided to move on and a short while later, he married a girl named Sarah. After Anne's daughter, Amy, was born, Leo and Sarah had their own child, Ben.One evening, Anne has a talk with Amy and Amy reveals that while at band camp, she slept with a boy named Ricky Underwood and is now pregnant. Amy also reveals that when she told Ricky, he suggested they get married. Anne tries to explain to Amy that "being rescued" isn't always the best option, but Amy doesn't understand why her mother thinks that because Amy is unaware that George's "rescuing" of Anne cost Anne her chance of being with Leo, who she had started to develop feelings for being she found out she was pregnant with Amy.So a few nights later, after a huge fight with George that took place in front of Amy and their second daughter, Ashley, Anne calls Leo and asks him to come over for pizza and red wine.Anne tells Leo about the fight and Leo asks if the fight had to do with her suspicions of him cheating on her, which she's had for a while, and she says yes, among other things. She also reveals that she's thinking of leaving him, but she doesn't want to hurt their daughters. Leo tells her she has to do what's best for her and in the end, fighting and cheating isn't good for the girls either.When they're standing at the front door just as he's about to leave, he tells her that he'll always be there for her if she wants someone to lean on. Anne gets emotional and starts crying and ends up crying onto his shoulder as Leo comforts her.
