As Dave deals with Andreas new crony Steve, Dave tries to get Matthew his job back and gets no help from Matthew of course. Bill sets up a piano in the bathroom then the elevator to try a new career in political satire. Jimmy brings a camera crew into the office to film a documentary about himself.Instead of the usual opening, the credits run over a scene of Joe removing Matthew from the building and depositing him in a garbage can. Khandi Alexander doesn't appear in this episode. Her name also doesn't appear in the opening credits. Jimmy: I think Mr. DeVille is ready for my close-up or whatever the hell I'm saying.Jimmy mangles a quotation from Billy Wilder's movie classic Sunset Boulevard (1950). The correct quotation, as delivered by Gloria Swanson as Norma Desmond, is "All right, Mr. de Mille, I am ready for my close-up." The Mr. DeMille referred to is Cecil B. DeMille, the legendary director whose career stretched back into silent movie days. In fact he is credited as the first movie director to shoot a movie in Hollywood. Today he is best known as the director of Biblical epics such as The Ten Commandments (1956). Paul Gleason(Steve) was well-known for his roles in Trading Places, The Breakfast Club, and the first Die-Hard movie as well as many others. He passed away May 27, 2006 in Burbank, CA. just 18 days after being diagnosed with mesothelioma which is a rare form of lung cancer linked to asbestos exposure.

Nov 23, 2008 - This episode is one of the tops. Bill's shennannigans, Mathew returns and Dave just pulling out his hair the whole time. Excellent!
