http://www.leehayward.comThis is one of my favorite post workout protein drinks. Mix up the following in the blender...- 2 cups of low fat milk - 1 banana- 1 scoop of creatine powder (5 grams)- 2-3 scoops of whey protein powder- 1 cup of frozen berries / frozen fruitThis is a great source of fast digesting protein and simple carbs which is ideal to have right after a hard weight training workout.

Nov 23, 2008 - Looks like a great protein shake to consume any time of the day.I personally like to have dextrose (sometimes honey or pure maple syrup),mixed with cold water, and 50-60gms of whey powder 30-40 minutes after my workouts. Good choice in choosing the Webber Naturals Whey concentrate. No artificial sweeteners and made from a non-BGH milk source. Not sure about using milk in my pwo shake though as I hear milk slows the absorption of protein and nutrients into the bloodstream and to the muscles.

Nov 23, 2008 - I like to take the creatine separate in a powerade type drink so the powder wont end up on the side of the leftover blender after pouring.

Nov 23, 2008 - Ya only thing about that I'd be unsure of is the milk as a post workout shake...other then that it really looks good, i really like the idea of the frozen fruit, i had just been using ice, water, and the creatine/whey, but I think ill give the fruit a try...Thx for the vid :)

Nov 23, 2008 - Screw the Creatine and forget Milk which is absolutely terrible for the body, but i might try the rest of it :)

Nov 23, 2008 - wow dude 5 a day!? that cant be good for you is like max dose 2 a day?

unauthorizedentry01 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - No, it's not bad at all for you. That's nothing but a myth. For my weight, I need to get in around 250-280g of protein a day, and shakes really help get it all in. And there's no "max dose". It's not a medicine.

unauthorizedentry01 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - Although, I'd like to clarify something. By a "protein shake", I mean 1 scoop of whey protein in 8oz. of milk, NOT a post work-out drink like Lee's making here, which has 2-3 scoops of whey in itself.
