Dec 2, 2008 - all westbonds were heading via westshore not the charlotte runner. charlotte runner runs from rochester yard to kodack to former russel station. the derailment made the the westshore busy.

Dec 2, 2008 - The derailment shut down the entire line, including the Shore. I didn't know for sure but I assumed that coal train came off the Charlotte Branch since it couldn't have come from east of Syracuse.

Dec 2, 2008 - Nice shots! I've been to Bergen once. I kept hearing K-5LAs and K-5HLs in the distance from this line all day. I just wish I could have filmed the trains.
