Sep 27, 2008 - 1. Ernest tubb is one of the best acts to EVER come out of Texas.2. Ernest tubb had the best band in country music period....check the Texas Troubador's video if you don't believe me.BUT.... this IS Johnny's Song... He wrote and made it so famous that his brother still tours and does it. So I am going to have to go with Johnny...but I was VERY impressed with Ernest's version as well!

Aug 7, 2008 - I thought this would be a clear win for Johnny, but I'm not so sure anymore. Ernest Tubb did a very interesting version. However, it's hard to beat Johnny when he's doing his signature song, so I'd say he won it.
