Eliah was born in San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood on April 5, 1971. His father Terry was by then a seasoned drummer, and Eliah grew up hanging out at weekly jam sessions. By 11 years old, Eliah was taking regular guitar lessons and jamming with his dad's band. At 16, Eliah decided he wanted to pursue music full time, and just 4 years later, he had a professional career as lead guitarist in touring bands. Some years later, Eliah discovered the Chapman Stick, and began his solo career.Eliah toured as lead guitarist with several successful Colorado bands, including The Moondogs and King Daffodils. His bands opened up for artists Jimmy Cliff, Blues Travellers, Cheryl Crow, Kinsey Report, Derek Trucks, Leon Russell, Robben Ford and Little Feat. Eliah currently tours the world playing his Chapman Stick as a solo musician.Eliah has recorded and gigged with John Oates, performed Stick and Guitar on a remix of "Love Don't Love Me Back," by Eric Burnett, and worked on guitar tracks with Miami producer Lewis Martinee (Debbie Gibson, Orson Whitfield).Eliah has played his Stick at major festivals such as the Colorado Mountain Fair and Telluride Blues Festival. He made an impromptu street-side appearance outside of the Glastonbury Festival of Performing Arts in 2000. He has also performed on International TV in England.
