My first concert ever was Loverboy with The Headpins opening, it was back in 1982 I think, Best concert I ever saw was Rolling Stones, Steel Wheels , I had floors row 6 front and center. I camped out for a week to get them tickets. Best club show ever was The Tea Party in 1993 at RPM in Toronto and a close 2nd was Joan Jett , again at RPM in Toronto around that same time. Best festival ever was Another Roadside Attraction 1993 at Markham Farigrounds Ontario, Featuring The Tragically Hip, Daniel Lanois and Crash Vegas , The Odds , Midnight Oil, 13 Engines if im not mistaken. It was the best festival ever. Most dissapointing show was The Rolling Stons Bridges to Babylon show at A.C.C. in Toronto, we left half way thru, for some reason Ronnie was not playing well and Mick voice was not good, I know Every Rolling Stones song and they were half way thru a few of them before I even recognized them, I mean It took the chorus of Gimmie Shelter to kick in before I even knew it was that song. Most surprising show ever was Pearl Jam in Kitchener Ontario, we didnt want it to end, they were kickin ass, they played overtime and got fined. Worst venue to see a show is Molson Amphitheater, it has been there that I have experienced the most bad shows. Old time classic concerts I have been to are John Mellencamps Scarecrow tour. Supertramps Brother Where You Bound tour. Pink Floyd 1989 CNE show. The Who 1989 show CNE. Neil Yong and the International Harvesters at CNE. AC/DC Who made Who tour CNE. There have been quite a few forgettable shows along the way but generally I feel that Live music is better no matter who it is. I never got to see Nirvana and wish I did. Rock On.
