Seek help in patience and As-Salah (the prayer). Truly, Allah is with As-Sabirin (the patient).We all know how important prayers are, but notice how here Allah mentions patience first...Maybe that should tell us all something.2:214:أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَآءُ وَالضَّرَّآءُ وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللَّهِ أَلاَ إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللَّهِ قَرِيبٌ Or think you that you will enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and were so shaken that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When (will come) the help of Allah?'' Yes! Certainly, the help of Allah is near!And you thought you had it rough? Hah. Yeah, right. Wake up and realize the torture and torment the Sahabah went through to spread Islam to you and me, and that Allah has made things SOOooo easy for us, so immediately, thank Allah for that, and be ready for Allah to test your faith by taking away what He's given you in wealth, health, and status. All of this is to test your belief in Him. If you pass, Insha-Allah you receive the Gardens of Paradise. If you have no patience, and disbelieve, then you know he other half of the story.All praise be to Allah (swt) and all glory is His.
